Pam Real Thai Food
This Thai restaurant has been featured in the NYT once and for good reason. We ate here for lunch because it was near our apartment. The prices are very reasonable and the food was great. The spring rolls were ok, but weren't big enough. The Nabe Yaki Udon was the star. The Pad Thai was average.

Vynl on 51st
Vynl is a Thai/American restaurant with many different choices with something for everyone. I had the pad thai with beef which was the best ive had in NYC so far. We also had the NY strip and frites, very good also. The interior has a musical theme with different artists themed restrooms. Tomorrow we will be in China Town.
Aki Sushi II
A small hole in the wall on 52nd st, Aki is a hidden gem. We almost passed it by. We had some sushi which was very good and the Udon noodles were the best ever. The tempura shrimp were done perfectly and had great taste.
The Delta Grill
You wouldn't expect to find this kind of southern food in NYC. The jambalaya was really good. The lower pic was of Lorne's chicken. It was chicken breast flattened and filled with jambalaya dressing and fried. It was great. It was on 9th ave.
Katz's Delicatessen
The second oldest deli in NYC, Katz's Delicatessen has been featured on many shows and even some movies. This was our first stop to eat in NYC. I have heard the legend of the pastrami. I ordered my favorite sandwich, THE REUBEN with pastrami. It was amazing. The meat just fell apart and the relish topping was great. The prices were high but it was well worth it.
